looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
This MindMedia presents an abstract depiction of neural cells entwined in a maze of ganglia at the beginning of time. In the animation, neurons transition from a chaotic state to a new form, which may continue to evolve; however, circumstances and magic may weave a different thread necessitating a return to the primordial state.
Paras Kaul conceived the concept for Primordial Return, which she produced and directed using computer animated sequences from an earlier work, The Ganglia’s All Here. Kaul was assisted hy animator, Bill Vitucci for the Autodesk Maya sequences. She edited the animation with After Effects and Final Cut Express. Ron Paras, photographer and videographer, created video elements used in this MindMedia. The didgeridoo artist at the beginning of the MindMedia was Alison Krayer. Paras Kaul produced the brainwave music and drumming and composed the audio track for this MindMedia.
